New World Park Food Court Again

3 weeks ago after hubby watching "Ho Chiak", he was motivated to try new world park ice kacang again. Previously when we ordered the ice kacang, we didn't ask for the special type with lots of fruits. So we went to have another try at new world park after some window shopping at Mekio.

ABC special ice kacang. "Special" in a sense that there is lots of fruits, like mango, papaya etc. Definitely taste better than the normal one. :)

We also ordered Tee Nya Kuih...taste like "kee chang" to me...we didn't finish it as it is too filling..

While hubby waited for the ice kacang, I went to find some simple delicacies...so I ordered Chee Cheung Fun and yam cake. The chee cheung fun is not as good as the one at Island Glades though, and the yam cake is just average. Nothing compared to my mum's yummy yum cake :P

  1. I agree with you that the chee chong fan in island glades is better and the yam cake is just so-so.

  2. which CCF in Island Glades?!!!
you know, b4 I studied in Pg, I used to dislike Pg's CCF, for the sticky, pungent and sweet shrimp paste did nothing for me.

but the various discoveries in Pg, my fav remained the Delima's, and Kimberley St's, kinda changed my perception.

    still think Swatow Lane's ABC>Kek Seng>Lrg Selamat.

  3. Good memories of Penang ABC in Kek Seng and their CCF in Har Kou courtesy of wife. Usu ABC sellers have to be good to survive in Penang. Have to breakthrough my hang-up on Har Kuo. Love it now.

  4. Food Paradise, I guess many Penangites are agreed too, huh?

j2kfm, I think the CCF that I mentioned in Island Glades is the one in Delima. It is located in a corner coffee shop. Opposite the shop is a field, and Domino's Piza is not far away from there.

worldwindows, luckily you like har kou now. If you observed carefully, besides har kou, there's also sweet sauce, chili paste, crispy shallots and sesame seeds. All of these made up a yummy combination.

  11. No doubt the CCF in Genting Cafe is still the best around. I don't know why my KL friends love the NWP ones. Maybe they have not tried the best yet. :)

As for the ABC, my favorite is still with only the banana add-on as I find the fruit blended in smoother compared to the rest.
