Last week was another UL audit for this quarter. As usual, I host the audit and to bring the auditor for a good lunch. :) I was ran out of idea where should I bring him to dine in a nearby restaurant. So, eventually we stopped by at the Bravo Italina at I-Avenue.
If I remember correctly, after I read on the negative review from NKOTB, I put a comment that I will not visit this outlet. Now, I got to slap myself, haha......Too bad :(
Correction: Per NKOTB, her negative post was not on Bravo Italiana, ok, my fault. :)
Well, going to I-Avenue at lunch hours on weekdays isn't a good choice if you want to park your car along the road side. I drove few rounds before I managed to find parking lot. Damn sick! Furthermore, there are a lot of cars, vans and lorries which simple stop by that block the way!
I missed Italian food since the The Little Itally at Bukit Jambul Complex was closed on sometime ago. Bravo Italiana is now another place to hunt for Itallian food at the Southern region of Penang island. Through out our visiting period from 12.30pm to 1.15pm, the restaurant was totally empty except with me and the Mr. Auditor. We were like the super VIP guests. :) Good to us as we got the full attention from the waiter and waitress. Of course the service was good.
We were rush in time, so weren't really got time to enjoy the starter and dessert. Each of us just ordered a glass of fruit juice with a set of main course.

Here's what I ordered. The Chicken Ala Pausin. I was rather lazy to consume anything with bone, so this is a good choice. It consisted of grilled chicken breast (if not mistaken) in thick mushroom sauce, potato wedges, coleslaw, baby tomatoes, broccoli florets, carrot and cucumber slices. Overall, I was quite impressed with the food presentation. Taste wise, it's up to my requirement. The serving is big for a small eater. I was so fulled.
Mr. Auditor picked the roasted quarter chicken. He was so kind to allow me snapped a photo on his food. :) He knows I owned a food blog. From his expression, I know he was satisfied with what he had.
The meal cost us for RM63.60, of course this is paid by company, haha......

ReplyDeleteIf i were to choose, i will take the Chicken Ala Pausin too since it looks so good and it's boneless. ;)
ReplyDeleteThe mushroom sauce look like curry :P
ReplyDeleteThe food is nice but not the pricing, if not because of the invited review, I will not going there for so many food :)
ReplyDeleteIf the food is nice, why there is no other customer in the restaurant during lunch time? Is it bcos of the current economy or the feng shui is not good? I am confused. ;)
ReplyDeletemixed reviews of this place, I rmbr. some raved some criticized.
ReplyDeletethe Little Italy!! i passed by BJ the other day, wondering where's the Italian restaurant we used to go during uni days.

Food for Tots, the food is really nice. The main factor should be the price, I guess.
