We went to Queensbay Mall to shop for some clothes and before long, it's dinner time again! Where to go for dinner? We want to find a quiet place for our dinner as we are tired after our shopping session, so we chose DOME.
We were first served light refreshment before our main order....
First and foremost....drinks, we were very thirsty and the light refreshment won't help. Hubby ordered lemonade berry(left).... It's a combination of cranberry juice, lime juice and Sprite.
I ordered peach tea(right): cold , iced tea with peach flavour that makes a refreshing alternative to regular tea, especially when it comes served in a tall glass with lots of ice cubes.
Now for main course...hubby ordered Lot Burger while I ordered the REAL meal.
Lot Burger: Grilled 100% beef burger with egg, beef rasher, cos lettuce, tomato chutney, sliced cheddar, mustard mayonnaise, onion jam and fresh tomato in a toasted focaccia bun. Served with chips. It cost RM24.50.
wow..... damaging lor... :)
ReplyDeletebut worth it as spending with your love one, right?
Hmm...once a while ok lar. But still it's over-charged. That's why I used to cook more than dine out. Pocket beh tahan.

ReplyDeleteWah...for me leh, it's expensive loh. I tried dining once and that's it, ONCE. :)
ReplyDeleteWell.. I hope they are still up to their standard for good food. I won't mind paying that amount actually if the serving is enough to fill the tummy and the taste is great of course. :)

ReplyDeleteCriz Lai, the burger tastes good, but the turmeric chicken tastes so so only.
Tigerfish, hmm I see...
What's that light refreshment that came first? A drink? Strawberry milk?
ReplyDelete550ml jar of faith, oh, we dined in during Ramadhan month, so they served us the "Bandung" lor...
ReplyDeletenowadays prices are around that range in this type of outlet...but once in a while, should be alright.
ReplyDeleteCK Lam, married a rich guy is another solution, wakakaka...
ReplyDeleteFood at Dome is quite expensive huh. I heard that their chicken pie is good, but yet to try it out.
ReplyDeleteAllie, chicken pie and seafood pie is good. Go to the outlet at Gurney Plaza there.
ReplyDeletemany yrs ago (hehe, like so tua) I tried the Buffalo Wings at Dome, very very delicious. but pricey of course. the chicken pie also not bad.
ReplyDeletethen now, the price double-triple fold. one breakfast set cost RM20 per pax. sigh ...
the refreshments look like bandung syrup lah!
Their blueberry cheesecake, Nasi Lemak & Spaghetti are quite nice, of course, quite pricey as well.
ReplyDeletewow!! Highly overpriced for such a simple dinner ler!!
ReplyDeleteEh, when were you in Queensbay? I was also there ler...heheh, also shopping:)
j2kfm, the refreshment they serve is bandung. The price really expensive now, can't affort to go often.
ReplyDeletesimplegirl, I haven't tried their nasi lemak and speghetti...but maybe I won't go and dine there again for a long time :P
christy, it is super expensive. Actually we go Queensbay maybe every fortnight.
Today, April 30th 2012, Monday at around 3.45pm...as I walked into Dome, Queensbay, Penang, there were greetings of "Welcome!"
ReplyDeleteBut the welcomes did not follow with any other service. I chose a seat near the entrance and looked through the menu; not a single waiter came by to ask for my orders [I have actually made up my mind before stepping into their place.] After 10 minutes as the waiters are 'still busy' [mind you, the business is not that good at that moment] I decided to walked out and this shall be the last time that I will step my foot into Dome again...what lousy service!!!
