Roasted chicken wing is such a tempting finger food. However, I try to limit my intake of chicken wing after I read the steroid injection to the wing of chicken. Since then, I consume more on free range chicken.
In years, this is just my first time buying chicken wings from the wet market. This is also my first time using chicken wing since I'm into home-cooking for the past 3 years. My main goal is to test the flavor of Cajun through the roasting. And the verdict? Yes. But, I felt sinful after 2 chicken wings. :(

New Kid, most of my dishes are cooked based on my imagination. Add little bit of this and that. I just follow what I think it can work. Haha...and normally it works. :)
ReplyDeleteSo they inject at the wings? I have switched to organic chicken for a while now.

ReplyDeletewow, looks super delicious, love the photo!
ReplyDeleteI love cajun seasoning, it's always so flavourful...I always try to consume organic products too, or at least free range when it comes to poultry.
ReplyDeleteMy friend who is in the chicken farming biz told me, injection method is old school and too time consuming. Now all he does is to use genetically modified chicken that grows so fast that it still chirps with an adult body. He gets chicks from a "chick providing company", that gets the parents from US.
ReplyDeleteHe said, it's pretty scary actually to hear "chick chick" from a chicken and not a chick.
And he supplies to KFC.
Chicken wing is my favourite part of the chicken, so fatty and delicious =)
